Q: Who can benefit from physical therapy?

A: Anyone having a limitation due to pain, weakness, loss of motion or mobility, can be helped by physical therapy.

Q: Do I need a prescription from my doctor before I start physical therapy?

A: We can perform an evaluation prior to getting a prescription, but current law requires we have one for continued treatment if it is necessary.

Q: Are services covered by my medical insurance?

A: We are contracted with Medicare, Workers Comp, Blue Shield, Blue Cross, United HealthCare, UABT, HealthNet, and most other PPO’s. The physical therapy benefit varies by contracted plan, and we can help you determine coverage.

Q: What should I wear to my appointments?

A: Loose fitting clothing that you would be comfortable exercising in is preferred. Also a closed toe or “sneaker” type shoe is most appropriate.

Q: Can I bring my children or other family members to my appointments?

A: Due to patient privacy concerns we ask that family members and children remain home unless they are a caregiver for the patient.

Q: What are your hours?

A: We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am-6:00pm by appointment.
